ACT 2
invisible man
Wh-what’s going on?!
Can’t she see me standing right in front of her?!
Can’t she even hear my voice?!
Trembling uncontrollably, I couldn’t tear my eyes away from the girl before me, and I tried to touch my own body, which was surely wet.
But, unbelievably, I couldn’t touch my own body.
Slowly, I lowered my gaze to the body below me and saw dirt.
That’s right. I didn’t see a human body; I saw dirt. My body had become transparent. I held my hand up to the sun.
Yet, as expected, only the outline of my body was faintly visible as a pale band, with just a hint of its color showing through.
I had become invisible.
