Since I’m entering someone’s house, I should probably say something.
“Excuse me for intruding.”
And then, I slipped right through the large, sturdy, solid door.
Where could she be?
When I looked around, I found her cleaning near the fireplace in a room at the center of the house.
And in that room, besides her, there were two other women.
If this really is the story of Cinderella, then those must be the stepmother’s two daughters.
I vaguely remembered the story of Cinderella, so I knew.
Maybe it’s because of that famous Mouse Land’s influence.
The two daughters were insulting her like this:
Daughter 1 (older sister): “You’re dressed like a filthy rag and scurry around like a rat, so why don’t you crawl on your belly to eat this bean?”
Daughter 2 (younger sister): “That’s right. That’s right. It definitely suits you.
As she said this, Daughter 1 scattered beans, and Daughter 2 laughed at her.
Taking advantage of her silence, their insults escalated more and more. However, even while on all fours, she didn’t utter a word and endured their words and actions.
